So I just logged onto Deviant Art for the first time in I-have-no-idea-how-long and noticed that my last journal entry, right smack on the front of my page, is dated August 2005. So my primary concern in writing this journal is simply an upDATE.

At any rate, it's been a creative couple of years here but not in the usual direction I tend to go in. My living situation alters often, while I have been in the same place my roommate(s) are not and I can't always tear up the place and create colorful havoc by sticking various mediums onto various surfaces (my preferred method). However I have been enjoying the hell out of my Nikon digital camera and have been all over Lalaland with various musicians taking pictures everywhere. I've also acquired a fair amount of awesome clothing and makeup from various sources (my numerous get-rich-quick schemes aside, I'm still broke, so these sources are necessary for my image). This has fed in to the little narcisist in me, and I have countless pictures of yours truly in various forms of dress, undress and colors. Combine that with a new laptop and Wacom tablet, and I've basically got a new medium for fucking around with. Forget the fact that I'm a technological dunce, that just makes things more interesting.

If I actually get around to logging on here again soon, be on the lookout for many new photos/drawings/etc. If not, well, I'll see you in 2009.
